Johnny Winter - R.I.P.

What can anyone say? Johnny Winter is a legend.

He's not been in good health for a while, but I just can't believe he's gone. I will always regret never having been able to attend one of his shows.

Thanks for the decades of wonderful music Johnny.

I saw him and Edgar both, twice. The epitome of an authentic blues player. RIP Johnny. I think I got the blues myself, now. I think I'll go throw on some vinyl.

As a kid, I heard a white boy can't play the blues. Well, Johnny sure proved that one wrong! Rest in peace, with thanks for so many years of great music...

I went to a dance at our high school in Orange, TX in the early 60's and lo and behold it was Johnny and Edgar Winter's band from Beaumont. I was shocked by the looks of the albino brothers but the band did a GREAT job playing some wonderful music.
RIP Johnny and play some Bluz for the angels...
