The best thing about my dad's life long dedication to the NRA has been his Benefactor membership with the Whittington Center. We love Raton. When I was a kid, it was the star of the Southwest and in recent times has been hard hit by lack of work, gangs and drugs. But Raton is still a wonderful city. The Whittington Center puts their money and efforts into quality in everything they offer to their guest and competitors. My soon to be 94yr old dad is going there April 20 to shoot again. I hope the Great Spirit allows him to be able to go again.
Last time I was there with my grandson Indigo, we shot the 6.5 Grendel at the 600yd gong on the new MSR range.
