I ended up using the "Attach Files" of the forum to load my picture. In the past I never had any problems using Imgur to post a photo here. I'll have to try it on another forum or two to see if it is the forum or Imgur. Have use Imgur for many years when Photobucket got out of hand with fees. But since the forum allows direct attachment for pictures, I'll remember to s oit that way.
Might be time to organize your files. However you organize them on IMGUR so you can find them on there can be implemented on your computer. For my FFL biz, I create a subfolder for each gun I sell online to put the pics into, and I name the folder using a Make-Model-SerialNumber convention. I name the individual pictures with Model-SerialNumber-N where N is just a sequence number. You can search from File Explorer, so if I want to find a specific gun I sold, I can just type in the serial number to find the folder. Grips are obviously not serial numbered but you can organize them some other way with meaningful folder and file names. Even if you don't use subfolders, as long as the pictures have meaningful filenames, the Search function will find it. I always edit my pictures anyway to crop out excess background and resize them to a smaller, consistent width, so saving them from the camera's default name to a new filename is easily done at that point. That also results in the files taking up much less storage space, reducing them from multiple megabytes to a few hundred kilobytes.
I've had that happen before. I just logged out and opened a fresh IMGUR window and logged in an my files appeared again.
