I watch a lot of vintage TV and often recognize a famous actor doing a bit part before they were famous. I am right now watching a 1953 Superman episode, with Jeff Corey as a bit actor. Remember, Jeff Corey was Tom Chaney in the original and best True Grit .

Miami Vice had a lot of “before they were famous” actors . Jimmy Smitts, Michael Chiklis, Liam Neeson, etc

I have a movie in my collection with two famous firsts. WINGs. It was the very first movie to win an Academy Award and it was the first time Gary Cooper was in a movie. Back then even those with bit parts got credits and it said, "Introducing Gary Cooper as pilot White." He got to say a few words which you read at the bottom of that silent movie. I don't think his part was more than five minutes before they killed him off. Probably less but I never timed it.

Anyone remember the John Wayne movie, "The Cowboys"? Most of the "Cowboys", who were just kids at the time, went on to become big name actors.

Yes, ,,,, Ol' 502 Dan. He was drunk the whole time on Highway Patrol. Even got pulled over by the real cops for Drunk while Driving

Yup, I just pulled up a list of single-episode actors who appeared on the 1959-64 TV Twilight Zone series who became A-listers later on. There were 16+ that I recognized. Still a fun show today.
