kP95dc... but a KP89dc would be my second choice....
reason.... with my limited knowledge and experience.... functional with out fail....
I'm flying to Nevada next week with two to put a couple hundred rounds through them.

That is a tough question. KP94DC (to be clear 9mm)
Why... It goes with the PC9. Very like the 89 model but sleeker. Cheap to shoot but yet would work if needed to deter.

I said the P90 but as others have said the P94 in 9mm is another favorite of mine. I have A DC version with the Hogue grip that I carry sometimes, sleek and while a bit heavy, still quite manageable for me. I have it stowed behind the seat in my truck along with a PC9 and several mags to round out the package.

Without a doubt, a KP95DC. I sold mine back in 2003 when I pretty much lost all interest in guns, and after my interest resurrected late last year, I regretted selling it big time. Just a fun gun to shoot, accurate a hell, and pleasing to my eye. I'm keeping my eye out for a nice one at a decent price around here, but you don't see many for sale (avoiding Gunbroker).

I know I'll get slam dunked for this post, but I'm very fond of the P345 and own two of them. One a de-cocker and the other with the standard safety. Both function 100% after the mag safety was removed. YMMV.

You won't get dunked by most of us here, we all have our favorites. I also have a P345, never had a problem with it and it still has the mag safety installed. I had another one but sold it, it didn't have the rail and I wished I had kept it.

my P85 will be with me until the doc gives me the long face, then I will give it to one of my children or grandchildren, along with the rest of the three safes full. will likely keep one rifle, pistol and shotgun until the bitter end. maybe sleep with one under my pillow!

Have to be my KP90. It's a hell of a lot better gun than I am a shooter, but it still makes me look pretty good.

A stainless decock P94 is on my list... but who knows when that will happen.... I have kind of finally detoxed after..... 4 P95's, 2 P89's and 3 PC9's.

Roy, I knew the mags were a mate to all Ps (same cal of course), but didn't quite put the P94 9mm with the PC9 and the P944 with the PC40 as matched units.....until now. Well, maybe I did, but forgot about it since I was never lucky enough to get a PC9 or PC40. But now that you refreshed my memory...... I may renew the search.
But I'm not sure the PC is any better than a handheld pistol especially with them both being 9mm.
I really don't see much difference between any of my P's, other than size, caliber, capacity or DC/Safety, and probably why I like em all pretty much equally. I have not shot my KP93DC, KP94DC or the KP944DC (which still has the new stickers on the slide). On looks/feel/capacity alone, with all having the same aftermarket grips.... I'd lean towards the KP94DC. I do like the capacity of the 9's over the 40 or 45. Don't have, but considered the P95...but not sure I'd like the polymer.
The 95 is the same as the 93 in size and function. Basically the same gun less the frame material and the fact you can change grips on the 93.
If you need a beater look for a 95 otherwise might as well stay away. Unless you are trying to complete a P-gun "set". That is what made me get the 95 and 97 and 345. At first I told myself I would not get the poly frame units. but had too once the fever hit.

I inherited my first P95... and kind of like the pistol based on "high strength space age polymer."

Ah!, P95, love em. I have three left, used to have six but dang friends and co-workers were asleep when they were discontinued and on the shelf in any quantity for $305 stainless and $289 blue but now just have to have one for the truck or whatever. Sold one last week, gonna keep the rest for now. I gave a couple away to my son but he has since gone full CZ. If they're still around I may end up with them back in the stable, but most likely they were trading fodder, don't know, a few years ago.

The P90 safety version loaded with Hornady Critical Defense is my long serving night stand gun. I have complete confidence in it's reliability and trust it to work and work well should I need it in a hurry and I suppose that is my best endorsement of the platform. But I would have no problem seeing a P95/P94/P89 in that role either.
