Welcome wayneesmith999!
As mentioned,, before we can offer any help,, we'd need to know what you plan to hunt.
In general,, .22 LR is used for small game hunting. Squirrels, rabbits, & critters of that size.

9mm ammo is actually more often considered a human self defense caliber.

Yet,, .22 LR has been used to take very large animals,, and the 9mm has failed to stop many a human. But the 9mm has also been used to stop animals most often not considered easily stopped.

Give us details of your inquiry, and we can help guide you into a proper understanding of what you may seek.

Wild Speculating !

Since .22LR is offered as one of the Options , I will go on a limb to speculate that the Parameters are essentially those suitable for .22lr , and inquiring how well 9x19 could do on small and small-ish game. . that most people use .22 Rifles .

IF I guessed that correctly , the answer is ;" It all depends upon how accurate your 9mm is , and how well YOU can shoot it. ?

IF instead the Parameters include coyote size , up to arguably small deer , 9mm is more better .
