Was at the local shootery today , the ar section was all abuzz. Got a chance to talk to owner and she said very, very brisk sales of the ar platform. Glad I was about 3 years ahead of them. How about your area??

Not bad here. I was out "scouting" this afternoon just to see what was in stock. Nobody has raised their prices on current inventory. Some shops are sold out of everything, a couple have the same used inventory that's been sitting a while (but all new guns are gone) and one had SIX new Del-Ton AR's in stock for under $600.00 each.

I'm sitting on one particular upper that I'd love to move at a fair price.

Stocks have been high and prices depressed for a while now.

So, move it at a fair price, say, 10 - 15% over your cost.

I think most folks have spent a couple thousand on guns and case-lots of ammo by now.

It's really kind of funny that when ever the powers that be start pushing a new gun law.... Sales go crazy and another couple million guns are sold... I was planning to go to our local gun show this coming weekend, have not been in several years... I'll probably pass on it now... I'm sure it will be packed and have a line to get in out and down around the corner as well as super inflated prices.

Won't be much "turned in" but there will be alot of blood in the streets

ALL of the avid gun owners I know will die before giving in to that type of tyranny gov

I doubt we'll see a "turn them in law", and the real goal of many of these anti-RKBA laws is to advance the "Surveillance and Snitch" society, create fear and suspicion, sow mistrust. Can you really trust your wife and kids to keep quiet, has that one co-worker become too nosy, etc.

I just got a CDNN flyer. They have basement prices on black guns.... even Colts for well under $1000. If I was buying, I'd look there first.
