I've been seeing this bear during daylight hours in our wild apple orchards. Bear season is open now and I've never shot a bear but If I shoot one I want it to be a BIG bear. This one will probably get a pass.

Well I wouldn't consider that a small bear by any means but not a monster the small ones eat better

Last night this guy came into the same apple tree. Obviously much bigger. The last picture is the 1st, original bear, for comparison of size. There were quite a few pictures of the bear last night, he actually walked up to the camera and fogged up the lens with his breath.

Looks like you have a community "sign post." Bears will often use the same tree to rub,, allowing others in the area know "who's around."

I'd be hunting over that tree for sure.
