Hacked Email

Someone hacked my email and was asking for Amazon gift cards to supposedly help a young girl with liver cancer. I know some of the members here got the email and one friend bit on it to the tune of $200. If you get an email like that from Watertender PLEASE don't send them anything and let me know.

I got the email. I did open it,, but I knew it was a scam. I know you better than that. It was too obvious it was NOT you.

I get one about once a month... got one last week from a guy at the sail club we belonged to for 30+ years but dropped out this summer... the only reason he had my email was I had sent him my resignation letter.... I did not have a clue who he was.

Oh and got a text from my minister last week hoping I was doing okay and needing some help with something and to get back with her but she was in a meeting right now so don't call just text. My text reply, " I'm fine, thanks for asking, and how is the scam business going these days?" I did not get a reply.

Everything is straightened out. The one person that did get stung was asked to give an additional $400. They are persistent and devious in their methods. I am going to pay the guy who got taken because he is good people. It amazes me how crooked some scumbags are.

Things are fully straightened out now. The one gentleman who bit on the scam has been paid back. I will not have a good man bilked in my name.
