Well guys, guess you'd have to have been tracking them for a time, but some are coming down. Depends on what. Not where, but manufactures rebates or falling prices at certain sellers.
Yeah, not all & many sellers won't accept it, but gun sales have gone stagnate with some formats. When ya start seeing rebates is sign. I saw today that Ruger is offering something back. S&W just came off of one.

I saw new Ruger 10/22’s advertised today for $199. Poly stock, blued with scope mount.

Price of Glock 22's and 23's have fallen on GB. (Used prices). I notice 40 cal prices dropping on several other Makes/Models. BUT, GOOD SW, Colt, Marlin, Win, and GOOD Rugers sure aint dropping!!

My perception is that prices are dropping on many models of new guns. Also, gun makers are offering more models and sub-models. These two things, in combination, suggest the market demand is slack, or at least slackening.
Gun prices and model proliferation occurs for the same reasons as auto/pickup pricing and model proliferation. New sub-models are introduced, discounts are offered on existing models, all for the purpose of stimulating demand.

Most gun store websites have feeds from their suppliers so anything advertised as "in-stock" might just mean the supplier has it. Depending on the supplier or the distributor, or even the type of account they have might mean the distributor will not drop-ship to the customer's FFL, instead it has to go to the store, who then receives, catalogues, and re-ships it out.
That being said, 30 days? I do not think so.
Grab-a-Gun's wholesalers apparently both drop-ship to the buyer's FFL and ship to G-a-G for customer pick up. The time difference between store pick up and FFL pick up is only a couple of days - not enough time to do both a ship-to-store and a ship-to-FFL.
G-a-G is in the metro DFW area. So, drop-shipping is possibly a "Texas" thing.

My gunsmith (here in Utah) has accounts with 6 different distributors, half of them will drop-ship, half won't. I agree that it shouldn't take more than a couple of days to receive and re-ship, so either the referenced store above is extremely understaffed, or, based on the fact there is no store front info listed anywhere, they are a home-based FFL, and it could very well be a part time gig for them.
Down prices are just another sign of a down economy. Inflation means less disposable income.
Add that to the fact that during the covid money give away, people were paying top dollar (because they could afford to) for any and everything, and it's not hard to see the reasons for a "correction" in the gun market.

Haven't been keeping track myself. Checked on my Ruger 22 mag Model 8323 now goes for around $369 at most places but M.S.R.P. around $459. think I gave around $290 with tax but that was around 2015. Very happy with this model with 18 inch barrel.
AR prices are in the toilet here, and most local shops aren’t selling or buying. Inversely, lever guns are the current hotness, although rising prices in that category seem to be cooling their appeal also. Glocks, Shields, XD’s, and anything cheap still seems to move.
Here in OR, back in late 2022 when anti-gun measure 114 was a possibility, the wait cue for background checks was over 40,000 and could take up to 4 weeks or more. People were spending every spare dime on guns, just in case. Now, there’s a lot of people with no spare change left. Sales have plummeted. My local shop has more guns on consignment than they actually own by about 2-1. Inflation keeps raising prices and people are broke. So more available inventory means lower prices. Just yesterday I purchased a .45 Blackhawk Convertible for $600. It was a consignment, new, never fired. It’s a good time to be a buyer.

Correct. I have the same. It takes no more than several business days to get a product shipped. Even if they are a home based business, it should not take 30 days. For this particular example, I bet you in 29 days you're going to get an email that says they're out of stock and you may be able to get your money back. In the meantime, they've made money off of your money and you may or may not have had to pay interest on your credit card, which you ain't going to get back.
None of my distributors have this particular 10/22 in stock at anywhere near that price.
Getting back to the original issue here, yes, some things have gone down in price. Smith & Wesson for one dropped some of their their wholesale prices. However I have been told that they are about to go back up.
FWIW, IMO The closer we get to the election, the higher prices are going to go....

6 months ago, I saw my very first new Marlin/Ruger .44 lever gun. At $1050, I thought the price was fair. I bought it.
A few months later, the same dealer advertised the same model for $1299.
And then a couple days ago, the same dealer is now advertising them for $999.

Well, I just bought a Ruger Security 9 for $249 and it was 450 a year ago From Grab a gun, and the other one was a Ruger Max-9 9mm Pistol w/Red Dot from Gun Broker for $471. A year ago it was almost 600 IIRC. Also I bought a new Ruger Redhawk 44 for $700 about 4 months ago and they were trying to sell them for $1200. Ss the lesson here is look at all the web stores and you will find a good price.

My local dealer is small and I stopped in to chat yesterday. Not much is moving, less expensive guns have had more appeal for some time. Reloading supplies are just sitting there collecting dust. Rite group was $40 and Varget $56, primers $70 or $80 I didn’t look real closely.
He has guns dropped shipped often, a Cannic arrived yesterday while I was there.
Conversely, at the range where we shoot semi competitively, someone has a new gun costing from $1,500 -$2,000 every month. It’s the old geezers that have money to spend, the working guys not so much.
I cannot see how this economy is still afloat. I read lots of financial data and more people are maxed out on credit cards and the number of people borrowing against their 401 is nearing a record. Bidenomics at its best.

Rarely have I purchased a new gun. I almost always buy used and almost always C&R. Old revolvers and high end target pistols are keeping me broke. I have not detected prices softening. If the economy tanks discretionary purchases will decline.

Local forum has a Ruger-made Marlin .44 Magnum model 94 and the seller is down to $800 with no takers. I have no interest in an 1894, a Marlin made by Ruger, or a .44 and I guess not many others do right now either...

Not to be a stick in the mud or a conspiracy theorist, I think it is the lack of funds with inflation so high and the free money Biden sent out whether you needed it or not, ran out. So he keeps the inflation high thinking we can't afford them.
OR maybe the gold rush is over. I just want to see the quality come back.
