The gun that I bought (in post 48) for $189 I took home and disassembled it to find the dual spring, circlip, and spring retainer just fell out. Lucky I had it over a rag and didn't lose any parts. I think the previous owner didn't know how to put it back together and just decided to sell the gun. After I cleaned it, I put it back together the right way and took it to the armory and shot it a dozen-or so- times. I have to admit that gun is a really nice gun to shoot. Well, I went home and took it apart to clean and oil it and everything about the springs were set in the same as I did previously. I think I just got a good bargain.

I stopped at the local pawn shop yesterday and found a very nice Ruger P95DC for $198. Made in 1998 and looked like it was hardly used Re. like new. Although not a new gun, it came home with me.

That's less than what I paid for mine 10-15 years ago. Looks new. It's actually less than I am paying for a NIB Wrangler tomorrow on a private sale.

Has anyone noticed that the prices for a lot of guns have gone down?? I just bought 2 Ruger guns for 1/2 the normal price (of 1 year ago)??

In these parts we have no such luck! Facts are I got everything I need or want!
Nothing to complain about here! ps

I've stopped shopping on GB. Local on-liners (Good4Guns and Grab-a-Gun) routinely sell their pistols for $100, $200 or more less than the opening bids on GB. People who rely on GB for their purchases are throwing away their money. That tells me something about the people who shop there.

I just bought a SAR B6C for $189 from Gun broker after I check the prices at Good4Guns. Good4Guns was about $80 higher, and the last time I bought a gun their prices were much higher than Gun Broker.

Well, G4G is 15 miles from my house. So, by shopping there I avoid shipping costs and the FFL fees. G4G is almost always the least expensive alternative for the types of guns (all new) I'm interested in. My next best alternative is Grab-a-Gun which is about 25 miles from my house. Again, no shipping and no transfer fees. YMMV.
