GP100 hammer pivot pin trouble

The sucker won't budge. Main spring is out, I've tried all variations of hammer and trigger positions and that sucker won't move. The Ruger Tech Tip video makes it look like a cake walk. Do I have to break out a hammer?

Sometimes thay will almost fall out. Sometimes they are tight and you need to support the grip stud and take a small wood dowel and a hammer and tap it out. Simple.

The one in my GP100 came that tight. After I took it out, I noticed the hole where it goes in was pretty rough. I polished both the pin and the hole, and now the pin goes in and out easily.
