I needed another 100 rds so I started at exactly 8:00pm.

-I got a 100-ct of CCI500 primers off the shelf;
-I dumped them in my brass Dillon flip tray and flipped 'em;
-I filled a tube and dumped 'em;
-I dropped some more clean R-P 9x19 cases in the feeder;
-I lot-numbered the load and recorded the data and components;
-I placed a Blue Bin of 125g LRN Penn Bullets in front of me;
-I sat down and started pumping;
-I measured and gauged some as they were made;
-I placed the finished rds in MTM 50-ct flip-top boxes.

It was 8:31pm.


I love my Dillon XL650.

I too love my Dillon 650. I try to NEVER get below a few months worth of shooting before I crank out a few thousand more 45's on mine.
A few things I do a bit differently to my match ammo than what you did.
After loading, I place them nose down in 50 round plactic trays. I check for primer height. Next, I use a chamber check guage to make sure I didn't miss a round that might jam a gun during a speed run.

I was lazy.
I normally run all rds through my Nowlin match barrel with its under-SAAMI chamber. Its chamber is tighter than my two 9x19 case gauges.

I ALWAYS do a primer- and OAL-check after boxing ammo.

I have successfully fired thousands and thousands of rds without a single failure of any kind through my pair of 9x19 Witnesses.
If they fit the chamber.... :shock:

I have also bashed the slide closed with a (couple; I broke the first one) rock trying to get the slide closed on an un-chamber-checked cartridge during a stage.
Lack of perfection THAT time.
