Monday night I was out in the snow and ended up falling on the sidewalk. I tried to get up a few times but my right leg was on the ice with water. I'd crawl a ways and try again but had the same problem. The dog went in with out me so the wife came out looking for me. She brought a walking stick and I was finally able to crawl far enough around to mostly get off the ice and get up. Good thing I had the walking stick because I was really struggling to walk on my right leg, very painful on the old knee. Ended up going to bed after using the walking stick and a step ladder to balance myself. Next morning I couldn't put any weight on my knee. Still using the walking stick and step ladder but the weather was a mess and didn't want the wife to head out and get stuck in the snow or slip on some ice. Finally that night a friend brought over some crutches. Finally decided it was time to go see a dr yesterday. Went to the DOC clinic said I had damaged my miniscus. Wasn't sure how bad it was damaged but he said sometimes they heal, on their own, so I'm going to stay in for a couple of weeks and hope it get's better. I have an appointment in two weeks if things aren't better I'll go for an MRI. It can certainly be painful getting older. If you would think about me during prayer time I would appreciate it. I don't need this dragging on for a few months. Thanks.
