My wife is having her right hip replaced on Wednesday. She has struggled for some time. Has back issues with arthritis for some time, but she hasn't wanted to do the back surgery so is having epidurals ever so often for relief. Because of the back pain, she didn't realize her hip was an issue for some time. Now the ball joint has collapsed and the time has come.

I humbly ask for prayers for her, for relief from the pain and better mobility.

Standing up on my knees for your beautiful bride's successful surgery and complete healing, and for yourself as well, my friend!

Update: Doctor said the surgery went well, no issues, said she is sporting a new hip! She will be staying the night, as she also has pulmonary hypertension. Just as a precaution. I've been there since 6:30 this AM, so I may sound a bit out there........

Thank you all for remembering her in prayer. I know not everyone believes, but my wife and I deeply believe in the power of prayer. Thanks again.....

Prayers coming your way. I totally understand as my wife is going through much of the same. She has had multiple surgeries including 2 on her back. They don't want to do more surgeries because they can't pinpoint an area that would provide relief, and to be honest she doesn't want more either. She gets injections like you mention with only small relief. Makes a guy feel like crap because there isn't much you can do to help other than be understanding and try to help as much as you can. Hope your wife has a good recovery.

Unfortunately I know what it is to stay with my wife like that, out of concern for her several conditions.
Talking to God about it and asking strength for your honored self.
Men are both with a Mr. Fix-it hat and it's draining not to be able to fix-it!
