And it seems used cars are just going up in value dollar for dollar with new car prices.

But to the main idea of the thread, it also appears as if Electric vehicles are here to stay. When the big name auto companies are producing more and more electric models, it isn't going to be long before that's all there is to buy.

I was at a large Bucee's the other day, and they must have 75 or 100 pumps, all being used. As I was leaving, I drove around back and they now have many electric car charging stations. I don't remember seeing them 2 or 3 months ago. I didn't count how many, but they were the Tesla brand charging stations. I'm starting to see them pop up all over, as in grocery store parking lots, hotel parking lots etc.

You mean my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 with 41,000 miles on it may be worth something someday? I don't really care, it is da_n fun to drive. 'Course with Biden's $5.00+ prices for premium we don't drive it all that much. Reminds me of the early '70s, when for cheap you could make a lot of noise, smoke tires, and go like hell. These aren't too cheap, tho.

The other part of this is that Biden signed off on $386,000,000,000 yesterday for green energy subsidies and tax credits. Guess who's paying for that, and who's collecting on it. Yep, Peter is getting robbed to pay Paul - again.

Figured they would screw up a good thing. At least used good stuff still available. Heck I would be grateful to have my 70 back with that 383 magnum and torque flite tranny. Paid $2400 for it back in 1972. Yeah wish I would have held onto that one!!

Dodge is going to be releasing a whole bunch of short run "special" additions over the next few months.
What I find somewhat amusing as they transition to electrics is they're spending a ton of money and effort to allow
the electrics to make noise to sound like ICEs. Special pipes, chambers and sound generators. All of that to me is extra
weight and expense that does nothing for the cars performance except maybe in the showroom...I guess that's where it really
counts.
Maybe if they can duplicate the yowl of a Hellcat Redeye they'll be onto something. Can see a cruise night in the future where people
compete to see who's electric car sounds the best.
Have no doubt the electrics will quickly just crush the performance of today's quickest, just question the price tags initially.
