I and all my 5th grade classmates were in the library at Highland Village Elementary School watching it live. Teacher rushed and shut the TV off and we went quietly back to class.

Went to the same school, It just closed recently for good, I’m still in the area.

WOW!

I was in first grade the first fall it was open ... 1980. What street did you live on and when did you attend there? I drove by a couple weeks ago and the building is still there. My wife and I went to Milliken Middle School and that building is still there but it's not a school. We are alums of Edward S. Marcus High School (class of 1993) and it's still there.

I remember exactly where I was. We had the TV on watching it. There were 5 of us standing there looking at it when it happened.
And I remember where I was and what I was doing when we got the news on 9-11
