While buying reloading supplies from my guy, I spotted a barrel of .45acp primed and ready to load. Price was $8 on the hundred. I didn't need any more, but for ready to go primed brass I had to get some. Brought them home and checked them in every way. Reloaded 5 rounds to check function and 100%. Mixed cases so I loaded another box and tried them, excellent accuracy and 100% function. Considering brass and primer prices this is a steal. May go back tomorrow and buy more. I have more effort and time in my own fired brass than these jewels cost.

That's "old" gun show prices. Currently,,, primers cost .03 to .035 each, and brass is .08 to .15 each.

Since I have a gun range where 9mm & 40 S&W brass is left behind,,, I sell my surplus. I get .05 each just for the brass. (I like to pass along a fair deal, as all it costs me is my time picking it up & cleaning it.)

You got a very fair deal there.

I was going to post something about the Wichita gun show, but decided to add it here. Attendance was great, but only 2/3 as many dealers. Lots of ammo and new guns, but not a lot of the old guns I like to look at. I swapped a Sears/Marlin .22 and $50 for a Noble Model 275 lever-action .22 that needs some work. I stopped in at the LGS on the way back, looking for 2400 powder. As at the show, none to be found. Still, a pretty good day.

Went back today and price was $10/100. Said something to the guy and he remembered me, he should I spend alot of $ with him, and he sold me the same but charged me $35 for 500 good return customer ya know.
