Will the new model frame with lock accept non lock parts to get rid of the lock, or am i looking at a new frame. Been thinking about a Bisley conversion anyway, it's a 4 5/8" convertible in 45 colt / ACP.

The revolver remains operational as designed, but with the steel, smaller XR3 gripframe. Defeating the lock on a new revolver so factory equipped could be construed as a problem by some, mainly those of the lawyerly persuasion. In deference to Flatgate's good standing with SR&Co, I won't post a picture, but if someone would like a look, send me a PM.

So far I haven't run across any large gripframes with the lock, just the mid-frames. What large frame guns have the lock?
