Be careful. A lot of these places will charge exhorbitant shipping fees as a way to offset lower prices

FWIW, Ammoseek has a shipping cost rating from 1-10 on the right side of the page. A 10 is free & the lower numbers poor. Never seen 1 or 2 rating, but a 3 rated seller will have shipping cost through the roof.

My suggestion is to ignore crazy cheap prices, especially with a shipping cost score below 5 or 6. it usually "never pencils out"

I always set my AmmoSeek search up to exclude the word "fee" and to show only 5 or higher shipping rates, sometimes only 7 or higher. Then I look for those I at least personally know of and preferably have done business with. SharpsShootingSupply and DeLeon RX are two good ones to me.

That as a loss leader. The rest of the ammo seemed to have pretty good prices. Until you have to pay for shipping.

I guess I'm the odd one out, I've never done any kind of search on ammo... I pretty much buy my bulk ammo from Georgia Arms... but then I only drink one brand of beer as well as bourbon .... I like being in a rut.

Yeah, I'm in agreement that it sounds a little too good to be true. I have gotten my best deals from Bucking Horse and Freedom Munitions.

Seems legit, but they definitely hammer you in shipping to make up for the initial price.
