Seems you never can tell what you might have forgotten and put in the back of the ammo cabinet....

Seems this was left over from the last time I took a force on force class at the Sig Academy ....
I just sent a request into the company that makes these for a quote on a barrel that will chamber and fire this stuff for one of my Sig P226s.... I'm wondering if they will even sell me one... no telling what the price is though.

(EDIT: OOPS - the kit below is 40 cal...)

FYI & FWIW, there's a used kit on GunBroker for $199 (don't know if that's a good price, or if it will fit your SIG & ammo or not):

I'll check it out... when looking around I found a Simunitions kit that shoots a different but similar kind of ammo..
As for the ammo I pictured... in the force on force class you had to wear a helmet with full face shield, neck protection and a vest and gloves were recommended.. I got hit in the hand with one of these rounds and I bled along with having several serious bruises on my arms from the same.

Edit: in looking at the link leper colony posted above it looks like you need to replace the extractor on the pistol also.... not just the barrel.
I have several Sig P226's in 40/357 caliber but I wanted to stay with 9mm... just easier it seems... I'm also interested in the Simuamunition stuff... but really don't ask me why. Even though I toy with the idea of becoming a firearms instructor in this later part of my life I really don't want to go to the extreme of dong a force on force class... I would not mind taking another one.
