I own a Ruger Model S26M, verified by a Ruger letter, built in 1967 and shipped in 1968. I've never seen another one. Has anyone seen or own such a crritter? Appreciate any input.

God Bless

A lot of us don't follow or know Ruger's model numbers.

Assume it's a rifle or shotgun since you put the thread in this section. Otherwise …. I got nothing, sorry.

Yes, a lot of us No. One loonies have/have had lots of early, non-prefix S26Ms. But the question is, what variation of the S26M is it?
For example, is it a more common BB (like the later 1B with semi-beavertail fore-end), or something more exotic, like my favorite, the BH (with Alex Henry fore-end)? If it has sights (rare for the early rifles) it would have an "S" as a third designator (i.e. BBS, BHS). And it gets more esoteric and rare from there.
Pictures are always the best way to get questions answered.
