Finally got my birds head grip frame put on

I ordered a stainless grip frame from Midway and put it on yesterday. I put it on my 4 5/8” single six .I got my grips from Bearhawk on here ( THANKS!) I think it turned out great.It does stick out a little on the left side ( see red circle) ,I don’t know whether to file it down or leave it alone. Probably just leave it alone, I’m afraid I’ll screw it up. I also have some stainless screws on the way from Ruger.

I've thought about swapping the grips frames on mine but I really like that two tone look.

I installed one on my flattop Single Six and filed it to fit and buffed it to match.
