Hi all,
Stopped by the LGS today and they had a ruger blackhawk in 41 magnum with a 4 5/8 inch barrel. It had some holster but overall in nice shape. I was wondering what a fair price would be. They had 600.00 on the tag. Thanks in advance

Price has nothing to do with it. If the seller and buyer are BOTH happy then it is fair.
Condition is everything. If it was NIB then it would be a steel. If not???
There are more peas in that pod.

I would say, depending on condition and if you are in the market for one, you can always make an offer to see if they will come down in price. Then it's up to you as to how badly you want it and if you can afford it!

I might offer $540. That represents a 10% reduction in price. My guess is that you can buy it at that price. 8)

$550 out the door would not be an offensive offer.

I've got about $450 in mine, but it was a weird turn of events. Bought a very nice, but converted 4 5/8 for $400. (Don't know what I was thinking) Later that day, saw a 6 1/2.. in much lesser condition, but unconverted for $350. Wheels started turning; he took $325 for it. Got home, swapped out the innards, later sold the newly converted 6 1/2" for $275.
