Early 357 Blackhawk

Gleaned from factory records. # 1064 was shipped from Southport,CT on 12-1955 to ZCMI Wholesale Dist.
Salt Lake City, Utah.
I bought the gun from my Vets Dad who got the gun from Charles Cooley, President of The Happy Factory in Cedar City, about 260 miles South of Salt Lake.
Cannot get any info from ZCMI as they closed down a few years ago, but the gun didn't get very far.
I don't know if Mr. Cooley was the original owner, but I am willing to bet he was. Big Larry

The gun is pretty beat up, but functionally great. It remains 100% correct after adding a set of original
hard rubber stocks. Here in Cedar City,Utah, Mr. Cooley was considered a hero, as he spent most of his later life making toys for underprivileged and handicapped children . I am very proud to be the caretaker of his old Ruger. Big Larry
