Dumb question ?

I am fairly new to single actions so forgive my ignorance . I have a Single Ten 22 lr. , and just traded for a 1982 Single Six convertible with both cylinders.


? can I safely shoot the magnum cylinder in the Single Ten ????? locks up tight ,barrel and cylinder line-up seems good (checked with a hardwood dowel )seems in time . What am I missing ???????
1.626 oal for the ST cylinder
1.622 oal for the SS cylinder

I don't see how the timing could possibly be right. One cylinder holds 6 the other holds 10. I think it's a bad idea. But I could be wrong.

Doesn't sound like a good idea to me either.

Thanks guys ...I said I was a newbie , after looking closer the bolt falls a good bit in front of the lead .
