I recall watching a Michigan outdoors show featuring a pheasant hunt with former Detroit Piston player Bill Liambeer. I couldn't figure out why he was carrying what looked like a Red Ryder BB gun. Then I realized that at 6' 11", that's just what his shotgun looked like.

The Duke SURE had a nice place RIGHT on Newport Harbor; LOTS of water front at a time when it was OVER a $1000 per frontage FOOT and THAT don't include the price of the Dock or mansion.

I once owned a Weatherbug Vanguard in . 300 Weatherbug mag. Nice rifle but hated the synthetic stock ,plus it kicked like hell ,I think it was the stock ,I should have bought a Bell & Carlson or another good aftermarket stock for it .
I've fired other .300 WM 'S with quality stocks on then and they weren't nearly as bad.
