DIL, prayers, and a set-back

Well, it appears we were rejoicing too quickly. While the tumor came back benign, they just got back the pathology report on the lymph nodes. Apparently,, one of those had a few cancer cells.
Now it's back to waiting, worrying & all until the bone scan, and a few other tests are done.

Sneaky crap that cancer.

So,, again, I'm humbly asking for more prayers and for those who have prayed,, continued prayers.

Decades back, my neighbor was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. Hopefully, treatments have improved in 20 years.

Hi,

Prayers from SoCal continue. Two ladies I know are currently fighting the battle against cancer, one breast, one cervical, and I know lymph node involvement can be part of the problem with both those varieties. However, for right now, it looks like they're both on the good side of it. I hope your DIL can maintain the positive attitude both of them have shown so far, and she, too, comes thru in great shape.

Well, an update,, sorta.
She has some tests scheduled in the next week. The scans & all,, they told her to figure on 5 hours worth. Then waiting for about 4-5 days for the results.
Chemo & all,, to follow.

Her mother,, has one more chemo treatment,, then the mastectomy. After that,, radiation treatment & all. HER stuff,, they say to expect treatment & such for the next year. UUGGHH!!!!!
