Different front sight for Mk3 Hunter

Has anyone put a gold or white bead front sight on there hunter? If so could you post a pic of it. I already changed out the rear sight blade. Looking for a front sight that is thinner.

I did a modification on a MKII sight many years ago using a mill, a dovetail cutter & installing a gold bead front rifle sight of correct height in the slot cut into the base. I later replaced the front sight with a fiber optic if I recall correctly.

Contender I was pondering the dovetail route. I may just go with the trs red dot. My second plan.

Several years ago I put a ramp and bead front sight on a Ruger MK10. Made for a much easier long range pistol, at least for me.

Dawson Precision can make a plain black sight or a fiber optic sight in just about any height and width you wish.

If you don't find what you want, call them with the measurement of your stock front sight (height).
