'Cujo' and 'Spot' won't be down for breakfast

"Dog"??? Its as big as a horse!

Now why in the world do I suspect that Boston Dynamics knew this would never be accepted when they applied for the $2M tax money grant?

Why don't they just fly their kit in by drone?? The drone would be just as loud/noisy as "Cujo" and "Spot" and could also give away their position just as easily---possibly at a much cheaper cost. :P

The explosion of drone technology may have been a contributor to the demise of the "dogs". Drones have "matured" very rapidly whereas the "dogs" have been under development for quite a few years.

Drone development has been driven by marketing opportunities for them as toys . . . big $$$$$$$ NOW!

The "dogs" haven't really been accelerated because the "team" was just burning money off the gummnt teat.

Watch private industry capitalize on the application of drones to the military uses.

Eisenhower said it best, "Beware of the Military Industrial Complex."
Eisenhower also said:
"Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite."

"Only Americans can hurt America."

"I believe that for the past twenty years there has been a creeping socialism spreading in the United States."(Please remember this was back in 1960!!!)
