Having never used a compound bow myself, I was wondering about something. While watching someone hunting with a very complex looking compound bow on one of those Alaskan shows, I watched as the woman drew back the bow and took aim.
It looked like as she got it back to a certain distance, it kind of clicked into place and she was able to hold it and take her time aiming. I don't quite know how else to explain it but that it seemed to go to a certain draw point and kind of lock into place.
Can someone please explain this?
