Competition MK IV mag release button length

Does the Competition Mark IV, having the wooden thumb rest grips that are a little thicker toward where the mag button is, have a slightly longer mag release button on them? Looking at pics online, it looks like it might be a tad longer than say, the Target or Hunter models with either the plastic or the flat wood grips. I wondered because I just scored a set of the Competition grips on Ebay to put on my Target model and didn't know if I'd need to see if I could buy a longer button through Ruger.

Not sure how long the mag release on yours is but the mag release on my Competition sticks out 3/8" more or less.

Thanks! That helps! I'll measure mine once it's back from Ruger and see how long it is. Some pics online of the Target models had some release buttons looking kind of short, others looked longer. Hopefully it's long enough. I don't know if Ruger would sell me just the Competition model button.
