Some yrs back, I swapped one out on a SBH. Just recently decided to do another as I let the first one get away.

Ordered a Bisley grip frame from Ruger and noticed that there wasn't grip-frame-to-frame alignment lugs like w/the standard SBH frame has. I 'thot' I recalled the earlier Bisley grip frame had. Anyone else have recent experience w/lug-less grip frame? Or am I off base here? Has there been a recent change? If so, any adverse impact?

Ruger's dropped the lugs..........

Keep the screws tight!

PS Dimensional variations exist due to running changes on the production line. Different vintage cylinder frames and grip frames may cause fitting problems. JMHO.

Somehow, you came to mind as I posted the query as being the one most likely to know :D Sort of deduced it could do its function w/o them as knowing some having had removed them to fit BFRs. FWIW fitment looks so close even a caveman could do it this time.
