Tried to order a printed catalog the other day, was told in an email Ruger isn't doing that anymore and to check with my dealer. What a bummer. Kinda nice to have a paper copy in hand when theres no cell service at the cabin.

With all the electronic methods out there,,, it comes down to costs. Ruger does print some catalogs,,, BUT,, in much less numbers than before. Plus, due to the constant addition of new guns, or different models, by the time a catalog gets printed & put out,,, it's "out of date."

At SHOT & the NRA Convention, you can get a catalog. Or, you can see if a bigger stocking Ruger dealer has some.
Oh, they also do a limited printing of an international catalog too. I got both at SHOT this year. The international one was VERY limited to find. I had to ask a specific person for one. It actually has a few less models in it than the American catalog,,, but is printed on heavier paper stock.

It's simply a digital world. Things change and this is one of them. I know Lipsey's isn't doing their own printed exclusives catalog this yr either. I managed one of the regular Ruger 2018 printed catalogs from SHOT but no luck on the elusive export/foreign version yet. best bet...ebay.

I don't think Ruger sells them.
Best option is to go to the NRA show,, OR have someone who is going to get you one.

I've mentioned this on other threads here... couple years ago Midway sent me their BIG catalog .... when I got to the double pages of red dot sights and looked at them I realized they pretty much all must be made in the same factory in China.... most were exactly the same except for color and label on them.

This new digital age...may just be the death of us.... I'm still paying to have a paper delivered every morning... y'all don't want to know how much that cost....

I think on-line catalogs cut down sales. I remember leafing through the Dixie Gun Works catalog, and finding several items to order. Sure can't do that on a computer.
