Callshot is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow, Aug. 30th, at 10:00 a.m. MST. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He was diagnosed with prostrate cancer. Outlook is good. But divine intervention never hurts anyone with the power of prayer !

Count on some prayers from GA. Good to hear the outlook is good! A strong spirit and positive outlook go a long way.

As I got on the computer this morning,, I thought about putting up a similar post,, until I saw this one.
I'll be sitting in a courtroom with my son, (he's having issues with his ex-wife,, trying to cause problems with his daughter,) and I know I'll have plenty of time to keep the prayers rolling.

Steve,, when you recover enough to get back here,, know that a LOT of us are sending a big powerful message to the man upstairs all on your behalf. We care for you my friend!
 
Hoping for only the best! Besides, we GOTTA see more pictures like that. :lol: red flannel & Hawaiian...
 
Just spoke to Dick. callshots surgery went well, according to the Dr. Dick said Steve's lips were dry and he gave Steve some lip balm and ice chips. callshot said he wanted a huckleberry shake, as he hasn't eaten in the past 48 hrs. I will forward anything I hear from Dick. I'm sure Dick will check in the next coupla days with full report.

Just hung up with Dick. He said he will be taking callshot back to the hotel room in about an hour. They will stay there a coupla days, then Dick will drive Steve to Pocatello, where Steve will stay with his daughter for 2 weeks, to recoup. Spoke with Steve, he is in unusually good spirits, and sounds great! He Thanks all for the pryers and thoughts.

It was really cold and rained off and on all day yesterday. My wife and I decided to clean out the garden since it had dropped to 40 degrees by 8 pm. About 8:30 it hit me that steve had a garden. So I ran over there and cleaned out his garden too. Had all his neighbors dogs just a barking. Decided to let Steve's wife know I was the one causing all the rucas. Heard a phone message from Steve that the surgery went well. And then Steve's wife told me to take the vegetables home.
Steve if you read this better get well and get home. I'm thinking that the grocery sack of peas won't last long with my kids around. My wife said there will be plenty of beans for you as the kids stay away from those. If your not home soon she'll bottle them for you. So if you want fresh beans better get home before they're bottled.
Oh and one other thing. Your son found the combonation to the gun safe so if you see anything familiar in the thrifty nickle don't worry we can make sure you get your cut.

Oh and your rasberries were saved but they never made it to the bucket. I hate it when those seeds get stuck in your teeth.

Get Well Steve, we need you around, at least for a little while longer.
 
Spoke to Steve by phone for a few minutes this afternoon. He said he was doing OK, just a little sore around the incision. The surgery went well.
Dick broke him out of the hospital and into a hotel across the street late this morning. If things go well, they may release him sometime Wednesday.
