Callshot, good buddy. It's pretty sad that this is the only way I can successfully speak with you. You are really in something worse than the dog house. I think they call it something similar to the Schmidt house.  If you get my drift. If you are running low on cell phone minutes, it might pay you to learn how to use that e-mail account. It's pretty sad I need to learn about your visit from Dick and Ruthanne through the forum. Maybe you need to ask your Daughters to send me some messages as well. I say this next thing for the benefit of Jeff Hoover. I was just able to enjoy the delightful dessert of hucklberry milk shake.  That's just for you, Jeff. I enjoyed every single byte. Your son was the one who suggested this possibility. You can thank him
Betty, glad you're still getting a steady supply of huckleberry shake in you. Steve said there are 3 Artic Circles in Pocatello. I'm sure he knows every one of them. I'm sure the two of you are really starting to miss one another. Guess another 4-5 days and 'ol callshot, aka hotshot, will be back. I think of you two daily, and my times in Idaho. Take care, Jeff
Dear Moisha, I Thawary, Tho Thawary, I will try to make it up to you soon. I still feel kind of like a gut shot Comanche. I will most likely never be a pooter geek and be able to send junk to you while here. :? It ain't berry high on the list of stuff to do at the moment. As far as the shakes go, I haven't had one yet. Too many distractions going on. Isn't the cell phone, the one inside the cell of the dog house, where I seem to reside of late.  I'd come see you but can't get in the driveway because of all the people there taking care of you. 8) I really must get going now or I will not get any resting and recuperating done today either. LOVE Steve
I delivered Steve's mail & some huckleberries to him a few days ago, I also had a small brown sack that was suppose to be delivered but somehow it got left in our car. Didn't know it had a jock strap in it. They had removed the catheter the day before & he thought that might help.
He said he could get by without it....his daughter had a thimble & rubber band!
You'll never believed who just walked In. It's been so long since I have seen his face, I almost did not recognize him . And, yes you are correct, Jeff, it was nice to see him again. This Big Bad Betty was real glad to see that ugly face . He is now beginning to realize what it's like for me to soak everything possible . That's what we call, turnabout is fair play . May his healing be rapid and thorough. That has been my prayer all along. I love you as well! Moisha
Well friends, it is time for me to go home after 18 days away. I will be there in a couple of hours. I am waiting for my daughter to load my stuff into the car because I still can't lift much weight yet. Yesterday the Dr. told me that everything is going really good, but that I will never get any better looking. Please don't tell the single ladies that I will be there soon. I hear that they are starting to look for other guys to bother and I don't want to distract them from it. I'll just hang around Dick and Middleshot in between naps. Thanks for all your encouragement while I went through this surgery. Steve
That's great news, Steve. I'm sure the wife has missed your 'ugly mug' and Dick has sure been 'off gallivanting' without his 'partner' to keep him in line.
Can't wait for more posts of your 'adventures' with the .44!
By the time I got to this post,, you should be home Steve,, so,,,,,
WELCOME HOME!!!!!!!!!!
Hearing the good news makes me smile & I know the good Lord has blessed you.
Talk to ya soon!
I can't tell you how wonderful it was to see his "ugly mug"  in the doorway! The only difference is, his food rations must have been on the "slim side" because he is starting to look more like Middleshot than Sixshot. He has had plenty of visitors to keep the place as noisy as a disco. 8) He even stayed out until 1:00 AM this morning.  Even with with all that, it's sure good to have him home. Thanks to all of you for the well wishes and encouragement! That was the medicine he needed most.
Ugly Mug here. It wan NOT 1:00 AM it was 11:30 PM. Moisha was asleep and I didn't wake her. I think that she has lost all sense of time of late. I had taken Dick back up the canyon to his trailer. He has been helping his DDS friend to look for a Moose and hasn't had phone service. I went to the range and watched as another friend checked his rifles for his Elk hunt coming up. I have been polishing and cleaning some brass so they can be reloaded. I think that while I am not doing much, that I will go through and clean all of my guns. If I only do 1 a day I should be able to get them all done in a month or so. I don't want to over do it  If I could only get Betty to quit bothering me all the time, I might get 2 of them done in one day. Question :?: Is it socially correct for me to clean guns on the week end? I don't want to do anything that wouldn't be socially correct. Another project that I have been toying about doing is to finish writing my life story. I just get started and get depressed about all the work I used to do. I haven't got to the positive years yet. It is broken down into 2 sections: BS = Before Sixshot and AD = After Dick 8) Steve
Steve, weekend are for 'shooting', not cleaning, unless of course one is RETIRED and then every day is Saturday and since guns get shot on Saturdays......
That 'book' may have to be written in 'volumes' or 'sequels', especially the AD part.
Just got off the phone with The Northwest Disco King.
He reports that while he cant quite do the "split" on the dance floor yet again he is steadily improving!
