Well after reading all the responses in the thread about "Cheap canned turkey gravy and store brand white bread".
It made me want some Breakfast for Supper :D So last night I had my biscuits and gravy fix. This is what the "Pioneer Country Gravy Mix" looks like on a plate when you add sausage to it and add a couple of fried eggs.
Put it on toast and you will have some outstanding SOS.

My lovely wife prepared biscuits and sausage gravy for dinner one evening last week. Not the healthiest fare, but a treat a couple of times a year.

My dad HATED eggs in any form, couldn't even tolerate the smell of them cooking, so when he worked a double shift at DuPonts, it was eggs for dinner for mom and me. Happy memories.

I made blueberry pancakes for dinner a few days ago. My daughter bought buttermilk by mistake and didn't want it to go to waste. Still have enough to make some biscuits too

Bout once a week the wife and I have a traditional country breakfast for our evening meal.
Fried taters cooked in bacon grease with onions, country sausage, gravy made with left over sausage grease, eggs, biscuits, sometimes fried apples and grits. Sometimes country ham with red eye gravy instead of sausage/gravy.
We have tried the gravy mixes, their ok, but not the gravy we grew up on.

Wife loves having breakfast anytime of the day. Cracker Barrel serves it all day now.

Hmmmmm. What constitutes what a meal is? Is it breakfast because of what is served, or is it breakfast because of the time of day the meal is eaten?

Or does sequence determine what the meal is called? Do we eat breakfast, dinner, and supper, in that order, no matter the time nor the food?

And is there a governing body convened to research such ponderings?

Perhaps a cabinet position should be created?

Looks great.... add some grits and its a homerun for me.

me and my dad would often do eggs, homemade bread, grits and taylors pork roll for dinner. That prok roll is hard to find, but man is it worth it.

You are pretty rude for someone living in Texas. You must not be from around these parts  Well maybe you have been to the Shiner Brewery one to many times.
Hope this looks better to you

It doesn't matter what it looks like. Taste is all that matters. I like to put grits over the top of over medium cooked eggs, cut it all up, stir & apply a large amount of black pepper. I don't really believe it looks pretty but I like how it tastes.

My wife cooks breakfast for dinner sometimes. It is usually eggs, grits, bacon or sausage & home made biscuits. Good stuff.

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day so there is nothing wrong with 2 breakfasts a day. 3:45 in the morning and now I'm hungry.

Now that looks much better! As for the Brewery comment........I'm in recovery and haven't had a drink in almost 20 years. I've been in Texas almost 14 years and I'm an American citizen, I can live anywhere in the United States!!!
