Bowen Field Sights

Called Bowen's shop today to order two Field Sights for a pair of Three Screw Blackhawks. They're still searching for a machine shop to do the manufacturing, and it will not be until at least the first of the year. I put mine on backorder, but am nestled in for a long wait, I'm sure.

I expect that we'll have an official version of the 'Yantis Incident" before they come in.

You are probably right. Sometime back someone mentioned they could not get a sight out of Bowen and after a number of months wait contacted them and wound up in a commotion. At the time seemed Bowen's brother-in-law was doing the machining as I recall. And of course recently I acquired a Redhawk with the intent to put a Rough Country on it. Oh well.

I think that I've got to get one of these on order for one of my Blackhawks - look very good!

I contacted Bowen a short time ago about a cylinder in 327 Fed Mag for my Buckeye Special. They informed me that they had lost their supplier of the large cylinders and that it would probably be later next year before they could do one for me.
