After defeating the snake I was hoping he'd go for the obnoxious blue jay that wouldn't shut up.

Wonder if that rattlesnake tasted like chicken ?
I've never had it but I have heard it is tasty.
I used to do work in the Reno, NV area in the 1970s. A roadside cafe near Fernley offered fried rattlesnake as a menu item. I ate some and really liked it. So that cafe became one of my favorite places to eat. It truly does taste a lot like fried chicken.

The few predators of venomous snakes all have reaction times a split second faster than the snake. Tire out the snake and the game is over in a few minutes.
