Blackhawk 357 question

OK I could not find this using the search feature. When did Ruger make a stainless 5.5" Blackhawk in 357? They have the 4&5/8" version, but I am looking for the 5.5", if it was ever made. Thks.

From day one, No 5.5" .357 Blackhawks, blue or stainless. Only 4-5/8", 6-1/2" and 10"

Vaquero and New Vaquero .357 5.5" yes.

Sometimes you just have to make the configuration you want. Look for a 5.5" Vaq barrel and get a Blackhawk front sight put on it. Or cut off a 6 1/2" barrel and have the sight remounted. Easiest thing to do especially on a stainless gun, don't even have to have the barrel removed and least expensive way to get what you want. I've done dozens and probably hundreds are done every week.

The 5.5" stainless Bisley Blackhawk is out there as a special run through Acusport. Personally I have a 6.5" Blackhawk and have found it to be all around perfect for me.

I will check out Acusport. I can live with the shorter barreled Blackhawk, but the 5.5" would be nice. If I can't find one, then I may go the route of having the 6.5" one cut shorter. Who would you recomend?
