Local pawn shop has a 6.5 inch 357 Blackhawk dating back to 1968. Original lock work, original grips, very nice tight action. I'd rate the finish at LEAST 95% .... maybe better.

Am I correct that this is a $425.00 gun with no box, etc.?

I take it you mean 6 1/2". Yes, that's exactly what I paid for mine, plus shipping and transfer fee.

Everything is bigger in Texas, prices too!
Not necessarily. Bought mine new in 1968 for $80. Gifted it to my oldest son for his 50th birthday in May - along with the San Antonio Alamo Leather rig plus the box & manual.

I bought this gun today. Has the wrong grips on it .... later grips post-1970 but the gun is easily 95-98 percent and the right grips are on the way from a Forum friend!

There's 3 or 4 small dings on the grip frame .... a common thing I see a lot for some reason. You'd have to look mighty hard to see a cylinder ring and there's just the ever-so-slight small muzzle spot. S/N 122xxx.

Got it for $450.00 out the door.

Indoor pics are dark .... sun went down on me.
