Barrel width at muzzle?

Hello All :D
First post here
Ordered a new 10/22 model 1262 with the 20" SS barrel which is
"supposed to be" .920" across. I was just on the phone with Mike at NDS
to order a slide- on front sight and was told to measure the muzzle before I
order because many of the barrels are actually .927" across & wont accept this front sight.
any recommendations?

As I mentioned in another thread, mine are all gone, but just wait and do like the folks at Nodak said, measure it to be sure. If you can't wait, :mrgreen: I can't imagine it would be too difficult to remove .007" of material from the inside of the NDS sight, using a wood dowel wrapped in sand-paper.
