Another scam but different

Just received this text message:
Your Maryland Unemployment Insurance Claim account is currently on hold for verification, Please complete your verification by following the instructions in the link below: https://forms.gle/TV1dDAtRGLRrR7AY9
This is a new twist. Neither of us have EVER applied for unemployment. The really interesting thing is the phone number it came from is in Wilmington DE

Just like email. Look at it, laugh at it, delete it. Never click on a link in either if there is the slightest question.

I receive more scam text messages than phone calls. Not many on the weekends, but last week, Mon-Fri, just about one a day.

What's really cool is the link takes you to google.docs with a form that demands a username and password. It also pegged my virus software. They are getting more and more imaginative. Thank you Fox Mike, this is something else to warn my patients about.
