I've been keeping myself busy during the lockdown, mostly doing some projects at night or when it's been raining, the few and far days it's been here for that. I had a piece of scrap rabbit fur left over from my son's school project where he used some for his Native American project that was completed just before all the kids were sent home.
I was trying to figure out what to do with it and I decided to make a pouch for my flintlock and muzzleloading tools, ones that I would need in case I had to work on the gun in the field. The pick, brush, flint knapping hammer and spare flints and a mainspring vice all fit in it. I stitched it together using synthetic sinew and carefully made a slot in the flap for the deer antler button I sewed on. It goes well with my Traditions Tennessee rifle and will go in a larger possibles bag.
