Does anyone use ammo reloading software for calculations/tracking? If so, which one?

What sort of calculations?

I don’t, but do keep a written record in a notebook with pretty extensive notes. A notebook is easier for me because I can use it at the reloading bench and take it to the range.

I have a massive collection of linked Excel spreadsheets that are a database for gun purchases, serial numbers, etc., loads tried and the results, optimum loads for each caliber, boolit and primer and brass inventories, etc. ad nausium.

I can tell you what brass I loaded on what day and with what formula going back 30+ years. The beauty is that you can customize your own forms as you need. I looked at store-bought programs and didn't like any of them.

If you have a computer you probably have Excel. If you don't know how to generate programs, the "Excel for Dummies" book will teach you.

I use 'Reloading Assistant' but only for a quick reference if I'm out shopping for components and want to verify compatibility.

It's actually been quite helpful and it's free.
