Just talked to Arthur at GHOST.

All of the approximately 500 preordered triggers were shipped yesterday, on Tuesday the 16th.
This includes all Tacticals, Rockets and Ultimate models.
He also has two new models: the Patrol and the Heavy-Duty which are not yet on the web but soon will be.
I'm a happy guy.

Got my USPS tracking number, but no info showing yet. Then again, that's par for the course for USPS package tracking. I'll get a very detailed report on their tracking site two days after I receive the package.

My Ghost arrived this weekend while I was out of town. I wanted to install it before going to Ft Benning for a shoot, but glad I did not now that it is over as I will be able to have a very good comparision for a before and after.
I can say I was very impressed with how accurate it was, how good it shot, not one FTF, FTE, etc. Perfect performance in every way.
I am glad I was able to hand pick one rather than just order one or go to a store that only had one..., it is nice to get the "pick of the litter", I am 100% happy with this one

Got my Rocket 3.5 last Friday. Installed it over the weekend. Haven't been out to shoot yet, but wanted to report on dry-firing.

First, I've removed my mag disconnect, so dry-firing without mag is no problem.

I spent close to an hour fitting the trigger reset, removing a very small amount of the trigger control tab, then installing, reassembling the pistol, dry-firing, etc. Each time, the striker would not fire, so I pulled the trigger reset, removed a little more, then reassembled.

In the end, I had removed close to 3/32" before the striker finally fired. Like the instructions say, "Patience!"

Anyway, here are my observations. Again, I haven't had a chance to range test, only dry-fire:

The length of trigger pull is only slightly reduced -- 3/8" before Rocket install; 5/16" after.

The weight of pull also is only slightly reduced -- 10.5 lbs to 12.5 lbs before Rocket install; 8.25 lbs to 10.5 lbs after. (Pull weight is measured by a digital pull gauge.)

The feel of trigger pull is slightly smoother, but my trigger was quite smooth to begin with, not gritty at all.

The main difference between original trigger reset and the Rocket is that over travel is eliminated entirely.

Basically, trigger pull is slightly smoother all the way to the point of striker fire, at which point slight resistance is met. An additional 1/4 lb or so fires the striker.

If you pre-load your trigger when shooting, the Rocket makes it easier -- pull to the point of resistance, then 'click', it fires. However, I never pre-load when shooting -- very dangerous in SD situation.

I've called Arthur a couple of times to ask if the before and after behavior of my pistol is typical, or if I did something wrong. But I keep getting voice mail. Left messages; still no reply.

I'm posting here to see if others have similar results.

The trigger reset is not difficult to install. Main thing is trigger bar needs to be pulled forward to the front of the new trigger control tab when reinstalling in the ejector. Side of the safety housing holds the whole thing together for reinsertion into the frame.

When removing the safety detente/spring assembly, place your thumb at the top of the safety, with the tip of your thumb right at the location of the detente. As you lift and lower the safety tab, move your thumb down, along with the safety. Detente will end up under the tip of your thumb, not flying across the room.

Overall impression:

1. Over travel eliminated, which makes subsequent shots (everything after the first shot) faster and more accurate.

2. Trigger pull weight slightly reduced. No great improvement.

3. Trigger pull length very slightly reduced. No great improvement.

It isn't what I thought it would be when I read about it. In fairness, though, I still want to talk to Arthur about it. I wish he'd answer his phone.

One addendum to the above post:

I also have a spring-release noise when the striker fires -- a metallic ping that sounds like a spring releasing. That wasn't there before.

I've disassembled and reassembled a half-dozen times to make sure nothing's out of place. It's all good; just pingy.

Don't read my first post above and think, "Hey, I'll just chop off 3/32" and save myself some time."

Every gun is different. If you remove too much, you'll end up with over travel. Take it slow, like the instructions say, removing about a business card thickness each time until the striker fires.

I used a magic marker, dragging it across the surface to be ground away. This left a very thin, black line on the side, next to the edge. Then I'd file slowly until that line was gone.
