I have the mk Iv competition model that weighs in at 45.8 oz and this one weighs in at 53.5 oz a difference of 7.7 oz...the competition model doesnt feel that heavy so im hoping the extra 7.7 oz isnt the straw that breaks the camels back....or ill have to watch tv holding it up to build some muscles...

No kidding, I have the 5 1/2" bull barrel Mk III model and it's a BEAST...waaay heavier than I thought it'd be.
