Hi All...AFter all these yrs, finally got around to trying AAC #9 in my magnums....been reading a LOT of good re this powder,,,,now I know why....
Load is AAC#9...20grains...NEW Starline Brass....WW LP Primer...
Bullet is from an ANCIENT Lyman Mold..429421 HOLLOW POINT...232grains...Lyman #2 Alloy... sized to .431....
Ok...shot off the bench at 50yds. just to test this load...
Close as I can hold with these 60yr.old eyes...
I must mention the weapon...Ruger Super Blackhawk..5 1/2" SS...Action Job... Bowen Rear Sight...Belt Mountain Base Pin...All done by www.majesticarms.com owner Dino Longuiera.....who was the former gunsmith for John Jovino CO. here in NYC....Jovino's closed some time ago and the owner L. Imperato started HENRY RIFLES......IF you need a good old-fashioned GUNSMITH...THIS is THE place to go.......
