It was a fun day.
Our "wonderful" demoncrap Governor passed a mandate, stating everybody had to wear a face diaper in public,, that went into effect on Friday at 5 pm. HOWEVER, you would not be ticketed or stopped by the police.
You could be exempted if you have a medical condition. (And nobody has the legal right to ask WHAT that condition is.) And if a business were to ask you to wear one, and you didn't comply, the business could ask you to leave,, and if you refused, could call the police & have you removed for "trespass."
So, at the show,, signs were posted,,, and it was explained,, but there was NOT any pressure to wear a face diaper. The show promoters were exercising their rights about Freedom of Choice by informing, but not infringing.
So, it was a FUN day.
And the show promoters had spaced the tables & aisles in a manner to allow for social distancing. Plenty of room to move around,, not crowded to where you could not keep some distancing,, and yet, still a good turn out of folks.
I did hear several folks discussing the "shortages" of guns, reloading supplies, ammo etc. There were some dealers who had ammo & all,, but not many. And some dealers were saying that re-stocking guns was not happening, so they didn't know what they would do in the next few months if things continued.
I was able to visit with a few dealers I knew from when I had tables at shows,, & enjoyed their insight into stuff.
Gun shows,, a NORMAL activity,, not enjoyed for a while! It felt strange but GREAT!!!!!!
