We climbed 133ft to the top of an old Fire Lookout tower which sets at 3000ft. What a view!
Victory Tower is where I learned to RappelAt first glance of the thread preview I thought this was going to be about the 250' drop towers at FT Benning/Airborne School......those were my Brothers exact words when he came back from it...."This was fun"......he then went on a quest for adrenaline the few days he was home.....red lining his motorcycle up and down the road wearing nothing but his underwear with a bottle of Jim Beam between his legs.......Army guys...![]()

Reminds me of some of the training we did in the Air Force's.But did you use the easy way and take the stairs, or did you climb up the outside of the frame?

Bases all seem to have watered tanks. So climb the structure using proper climbing gear, the repel down. We could run four folks at time.
